Keratoplasty material quality is key to success
The use of our keratoplasty materal allows for achieving up to 90% transparent engraftment in patients
Keratoplasty material has been manufactured according to the highest international quality standards since 2013. The founders of the eye bank have incorporated the best global practices in this field.

Innovative equipment installed in the bank enables the extension of corneal material shelf life and allows for conducting necessary analyses, while a quality control system guarantees product excellence.

The application of keratoplasty material shifts keratoplasty from an emergency procedure to a planned operation, which is far more convenient for both the doctor and the patient.

The nature and quality of the material used is a crucial factor that significantly determines the degree of visual acuity restoration in patients after keratoplasty. Currently, virtually all leading clinics worldwide perform keratoplasty using products manufactured through special processing of donor material. The use of such products allows for performing keratoplasty on an elective basis and guarantees the absence of infection. Furthermore, pre-operative material examination enables the selection of exclusively high-quality tissues with reduced immune activity for keratoplasty, which ensures a high probability of transparent engraftment.

What our patients say
  • Through several years, my vision had been gradually deteriorating. No one could really explain what was happening or why my eyesight was getting worse. The docotrs indentified problems with my cornea – its thinning, its gradual loss of transparency and its properties. Finally, I heard what was wrong with my vision; I was diagnosed with keratoconus. Keratoplasty was recommended. On the scheduled day, I underwent keratoplasty on one eye. I was only at the clinic for one day. The keratoplasty was performed by the leading surgeon of the clinic. After the surgery, I was given all the medications I needed to care for my eye at home – eye drops, antibiotics, and special protective patches. Now, I am constantly monitored at the same center, and the doctors are controlling the condition of my cornea. I am very pleased
