Welcome to Humanitas Dental Center
The Dental Center at Humanitas performs every service in the odontoiatric field.
The offer comprises many services: a first visit to create a medical record containing the clinical status and the treatment plan for each patient, ordinary endodontics and conservative dentistry operations (reconstructions, root canal therapies, avulsions, etc.), oral hygiene and preventive care, intraosseous implantations, prostheses (fixed, mobile, or on implants), specific dental treatments, and sophisticated immediate load implants. Patients only have to wait 4 hours before getting back to smiling with a new fixed prosthesis that closely resembles natural teeth.
In particular, this service is clinically characterized by a monodisciplinary approach: that is to say, a single specialist cares for a single competence field, thus providing a quality of treatment in the highest level.

Individual approach to each patient and treatment option
Humanitas Dental Center takes care of your smile and your care needs thanks to doctors who are experts in every branch of dentistry. Discover our treatments :
Anesthesia and Conscious Sedation
Modern anesthesia techniques are used for all surgical procedures . The patient is assisted with targeted pharmacological therapies before and after the operation, in order to guarantee the best possible post-operative recovery (reduction of pain, swelling and hematoma). If the patient requests it, conscious sedation can be performed : a procedure that aims to relax during the treatment. The patient, while remaining conscious, does not feel pain and will not remember anything about the operation.
Oral surgery
In the oral surgery department, tooth extractions are performed , from the simplest cases to the most complex wisdom tooth extractions. We personalize our treatments in the context of the patient's general health, implementing innovative prevention protocols. With the help of the orthopantomography and computerized tomography (CBCT), the facility can perform different types of analyses in order to minimize any post-operative complications . Cysts of the hard and soft tissues of the jaws are also treated, always in association with a histopathological diagnosis via biopsy. Screening for precancerous lesions of the oral cavity, which is performed during the first visit, is of fundamental importance for a better prognosis and resolution of the disease.
Oral hygiene and prevention
The oral hygiene and prevention activity carried out at our Dental Center consists of removing plaque and tartar , which often cause gum disease.
Before proceeding with the professional oral hygiene session, the dentist performs the first visit to check the state of the oral cavity and identify any lesions.
Thanks to this treatment, it is possible to deeply remove plaque and tartar that cannot be removed with daily oral hygiene with a toothbrush and toothpaste. It is important because it helps prevent the onset of diseases such as cavities, gingivitis and periodontitis. Based on the characteristics of each patient and their tendency to develop plaque or tartar more quickly, the hygienist recommends the frequency of treatment in order to always keep the mouth healthy.
Implantology
Implantology deals with replacing one or more missing teeth by positioning titanium screws that act as the roots of the new artificial teeth. Thanks to the immediate loading implantology treatment , patients will be able to smile again and eat as before just a few days after the procedure. If necessary, bone reconstruction interventions are performed in order to proceed with correct implant positioning.
Restorative Dentistry
Restorative dentistry includes the branches of conservative dentistry , endodontics and all that concerns the aesthetic aspects that contribute to making the smile harmonious.
This branch deals with the treatment and prevention of tooth decay through a series of procedures aimed at restoring the function, morphology and aesthetics of the smile.
Today, techniques are available that allow the execution of targeted and minimally invasive treatments for the patient, ensuring extreme comfort during treatment and an optimal post-operative recovery.
Research in the field of materials also allows the creation of highly aesthetic restorations with modern systems that allow for the best preservation of healthy dental tissue and to last a long time.
Traditional fixed orthodontics and removable transparent
The goal of orthodontic treatment is to correct malformations of the jaw and realign the teeth . It is important to treat these alterations because they can damage the aesthetics of the face but also the functional, chewing and phonetic ones.
Intervening early with orthodontic treatment in children or adolescents is advantageous because the jaw is not yet fully developed.
Realigning the teeth is important at any age : correctly aligned teeth allow for better daily oral hygiene to prevent the formation of dental plaque. After an accurate evaluation, using digital x-rays and dental impressions, the orthodontist can realign the smile using traditional fixed appliances or through removable transparent aligners.
Periodontics
It deals with the prevention and treatment of diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis : a disease that can lead to tooth loss if not properly diagnosed and treated. Periodontitis is very often asymptomatic except in the advanced stages, characterized by tooth mobility, abscesses and spontaneous loss of teeth.

Prosthesis
Dental prosthetics deals with the design and creation of prostheses that replace or modify the original teeth of patients with the aim of restoring or improving the chewing function and the aesthetics of the smile .
Two categories of prostheses can be identified:

Fixed prosthesis : can only be removed by a dentist. It is made on both natural teeth and dental implants (titanium screws that are placed in the bone bases and act as artificial roots)
The removable prosthesis : can be removed by patients completely independently. It can replace all the teeth of an arch (complete removable prosthesis), resting on the oral mucosa, or only the missing ones (partial removable prosthesis) resting on both the mucosa and the remaining teeth.
We also find immediate loading prostheses : fixed prostheses, anchored to dental implants, which are inserted into the patient's mouth following the positioning of the implant. Thanks to this treatment, the functionality and aesthetics of the smile are restored within a few hours of the implant surgery.
